14th December 2024: In response to media reports regarding the arrest of a franchise owner from a participating team in the ongoing 2024 Lanka T10 Super League, the consortium partners, TTen Global League and IPG, issued the following statement through their Media and Communications Head, Umar Farooq:
“We uphold a strict zero-tolerance policy towards corruption in cricket. Our commitment to safeguarding the integrity of the sport remains unwavering, and we will extend full cooperation to the authorities in their ongoing investigation. The league management is dedicated to protecting the rights of players and officials while ensuring the smooth and transparent operation of the tournament.”
